OK DLA disability living allowance is actually paid to help people return to work or stay in work. People who are working full time can claim DLA if they find it difficult to stay in work through disability or illness.
The rules say you can work and claim DLA so long as the job your doing does not break the rules or what you have stated within the forms. For example I might say in the forms I cannot walk anymore, then return to work walking. If I returned to work in a wheelchair or using crutches then thats fine.
