Hi! good to join your forum it new for me. I am on incapacity benefit and feel I could probably work 10 hours and still stay on my benefit in the first year at least if I do 'permitted work' under there rules from what I read. How ever because I am about to become self employed doing this I will earn under 20 for the first year (Gross). Is 10 hours okay to work as long as I am earning no more than 20 so that it is still classified as lower permitted work and hopefully not higher permitted work.

Does any one know. And to the moderator is this passable as a first post yet ?

Thanks for your help!
