Posted - 16/03/2010 : 23:08:56 Hi! good to join your forum it new for me. I am on incapacity benefit and feel I could probably work 10 hours and still stay on my benefit in the first year at least if I do 'permitted work' under there rules from what I read. How ever because I am about to become self employed doing this I will earn under £20 for the first year (Gross). Is 10 hours okay to work as long as I am earning no more than £20 so that it is still classified as lower permitted work and hopefully not higher permitted work.
Does any one know. And to the moderator is this passable as a first post yet ?
Thanks for your help!
