30 hours per week: term-time only
Following the retirement of the current postholder, the governors and leadership team of this popular and successful school are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic, innovative and hard working School Administrator from the beginning of the Summer Term 2010.
Main responsibilities:
To undertake reception duties, and dealing with the majority of enquiries.
To undertake typing/word-processing duties.
To investigate reasons for a pupil absence / maintain records relating to attendance and produce data on these.
To take a lead role in arranging school trips, photographs, work placements, events etc.
To act as personal assistant to the head teacher.
To maintain manual records/computer databases and adapt these if necessary.
To maintain supplies of school stationery and other school resources within an agreed budget.
To monitor the school budget, which will include discussion with the headteacher and the LMS section, and the preparation of the accounts to
governors.
To process invoices and pass these forward for signature/payment in accordance with established procedures.
To collect money from pupils, and ensure accurate records are kept.
To arrange for supply cover as necessary.
To maintain and update the school’s website.
