Posted - 06/10/2010 : 16:38:36 Does anyone know how I am to consider myself a disabled person when there isn't a register and I don't currently claim DLA (nor do I need to as I am in full time employment) I wish to protect myself in my place of work, my employers are currently very accomodating but I can presume that this will not always be the case? Thanks in advance

Posted - 02/11/2010 : 07:50:22 We keep telling people if your in a Union speak to your Union, if your not in a Union join one. Reason any legal battles will be carried out for free.
Due to the new equality laws we are now deemed the same, so registering disabled is now just not done.
But if you have a disability illness then if it's listed with the world health Org then your classed as having a disability or illness.
