Posted - 30/05/2012 : 21:20:55 My husband is starting a job and planning on working under the supported permitted work rules which shouldn't effect any of the benefits we receive. My question is about Tax Credits. If we apply and start to receive Working Tax Credit, would this possibly effect our benefits? We are currently getting Local Housing Allowance, Council Tax Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance - income-related in the support group. He is also in receipt of Disability Living Allowance. I've been trying to find out information regarding working under the Supported Permitted Work rules and receiving Working Tax Credit. If any one can offer any advice or has any experience with this, I would really appreciate it.
